Three Sisters Falls and Eagle Peak

This hike requires a certain amount of experience and conditioning. The trail down to the falls isn't an official Forest Service trail. It is very steep (think Cedar Creek Falls via Ramona, but steeper), and there is 12' "cliff" that must be up/down climbed.

Lots of hand/foot holds and an old rope, however. Heading back up, there's roughly a 700' gain in elevation in about 1/2 a mile--it's steep!!! Once down to the stream, you have to hike about a 1/2 mile to the falls, requiring some bouldering. To get to the upper falls, you must be fairly agile--the trails are more akin to bighorn paths than trails.
