Screen hang error when using Jaadu iTeleport app on the iPhone to remotely connect to OSX desktop.

When entering text from the iPhone keyboard the screen freezes. This happens when connecting with Vine Server or directly through the OSX screen sharing/remote management option. I am using Leopard 10.5.8 with all the latest updates installed. I reinstalled iTeleport as well (which I was again charged for by the iTunes store wtf!). And it does not correct the problem.
